When people ask me about my Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, they most often end up saying, “yeah… I get that, but I just try not to think about it.” And I end up imagining something like this painting, and musing that Ignorance is Bliss, but Knowledge is Power. The happy Plum Headed Parakeet couple here is completely oblivious to their impending doom, and to the fact that they are standing on their very nemesis, the Bronze Backed tree snake. I’m only slightly Wednesday Addams.
